Metfone continues its partnership with the Cambodian Red Cross, raising its total cumulative sponsorship to over $3 million

On the occasion of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day 2026, Metfone has continued to donate $140,000 to the Cambodian Red Cross and its branches, reaffirming its enduring commitment to accompanying the community and supporting social activities in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
This year’s sponsorship includes $100,000 for the Cambodian Red Cross national headquarters and $40,000 to support the Koh Kong and Siem Reap branches. These funds are dedicated to implementing relief programs and supporting disadvantaged individuals, natural disaster victims, and vulnerable groups in society.
With this latest contribution, the total amount Metfone has donated to the Cambodian Red Cross from 2010 to the present has officially exceeded the $3 million mark—a figure that clearly demonstrates the company’s steadfastness in a development strategy tied to social responsibility.
Beyond financial support, Metfone has directly participated in charity programs across all 25 provinces and cities of Cambodia for many consecutive years, ranging from disaster relief, medical and educational support, and humanitarian blood donation to caring for the livelihoods of underprivileged households. In 2025, Metfone continued to collaborate with the Cambodia National Blood Transfusion Center to organize a community blood donation program with the message “One Drop of Blood – A Million Hearts,” attracting a large number of employees and partners.
